ASLCC is looking for nominations for the 2011 Martin Luther King Jr. Award. Any individual or community organization is eligible. The accolade recognizes social and civic excellence in the community. The college’s annual “How to Pay For College … In One Day!” event is scheduled for Jan. 22 and registration for the workshop is already open. The course focuses on the scholarship application process. Participants will meet with financial aid advisers to complete 2011 FAFSAs and online applications. The CRN is 32713. A benefit concert for the college’s “Women in Transition” program will be Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ragozzino Performance Hall. The event will feature Soromundi and the Lesbian Chorus of Eugene.
