Lane wins Directors Cup

Athletics awarded for success in NWAACC

On June 4, Lane was announced as the winners of the second annual Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges Directors Cup.

The award goes to the NWAACC school which had the best overall performance in all sports in their respective athletic departments throughout the 2013-2014 school year.

The Titans were crowned NWAACC champions in both men’s and women’s track and field, finished second in men’s and women’s cross country, and placed third in baseball and fourth in women’s basketball. The Titans’ women’s soccer team also qualified for the playoffs and won their first round game.

Chemeketa Community College was the winner of the inaugural Directors Cup.
