Subaru owner flips their vehicle in front of Lane Community College campus sign at the first turn onto campus on Oct. 17. Running into the guardrail, the entire right side of the vehicle was damaged and forced first responders to gain entry to the vehicle from the back hatch.

While turning onto the campus at gate 11 and Gonyea Road, a single car accident occurred. At approximately 12:04 p.m. on Oct. 17, a Subaru flipped on campus. A Subaru in the right lane swerved and hit the metal gate, which resulted in the vehicle flipping onto its left side.

The female driver was assisted through the back hatch of the Subaru to safety.

Goshen Fire and Eugene Springfield Medics were on scene, along with a Lane County Sheriff. Lane Public Safety was in attendance as well.

No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
