Hi There,
I am having trouble finding a calender of events on the web version of the torch.
This would include club meeting times, etc.
Where can I find this info digitally?
Thank You

We are working on this. There is a calendar of events on the college’s main web site at http://www.lanecc.edu

I’m not sure which is more dramatic, The Taming of the Shrew play, or, the weekly ASLCC meetings!

depending on the week, meetings by a landslide.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Rowen Voris, and i’m going to be a freshman at LCC this coming summer actually. What i was trying to get ahold of you guys about was, i noticed in all of your videos you don’t have someone actually interviewing the person.. or even live casting a game and such..if you are interested i’m really interested in broadcasting, and think it would be super fun, and bring more attention to your “torch” news. I think you guys are doing a great job, don’t get me wrong(: but adding social media, might help a bit more(:

How long after the print version comes out is the online Torch updated? I do not have classes on campus on Thursdays and would like to read my student newspaper from my netbook. Thank You.

To Tracy:
We are currently working without a web editor, and have been experiencing a bit of technical difficulty as we have been easing into the school year and production flow. We are trying to make some changes to the website which we believe will be very helpful to the reader. From now on, the website should be updated either before or the day of the print edition.

Hello,
I was in a tattoo parlor about 2 weeks ago, when somebody mentioned they were from the Torch and had wanted to do an article on the UofO Gospel Singers, or something like that.
Anyways, I wanted to let you know that I can get you in contact with the director of the Gospel Singers if you still want to do the story, as I am currently in it.
Sincerely,
Justin

hey, you guys said that there would be a slideshow of Dog Sees God…when will that be posted?
Jordan Tichenor says:

The slideshow has been posted. LCC’s servers crashed the day we were putting it up, and then after the problem was fixed the slideshow slipped out of mind. We apologize for the delay.
